In November Rockland Main Street, Inc, was made aware of the need for Turkeys for the Congregational Church and AIO joint Thanksgiving Baskets. Rockland Main Street, Inc. with board member Kathryn Alex at the helm started on a mission to help fund the shortage with just $15 from businesses willing to help out.
We are very Thankful to the 26 businesses and employees who stepped forward with donations totaling $1,175. The response exceeded expectations and helped many additional Rockland area families.
During December, 22 downtown businesses are collecting food and Non Perishables for AIO with Barrels in their businesses. When you come down to shop, or show off Rockland to visiting family & friends until January 4th, bring a donation for AIO !
