Calls incident 'every parent's worst nightmare'
I was shocked and saddened to hear about the school shooting in Connecticut. What happened this morning is every parent's worst nightmare. Our schools should be a safe place and no parent should ever worry that their son or daughter might not come home at the end of the day. My thoughts and prayers are with the families in that community.
Congresswoman Chellie Pingree issued this statement above on the horrible school shooting that happened at an Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut. A very sad day for those affected by this unthinkable act and a reminder how priceless life is. Take a moment an pray for those affected.
