“Fortify Rights” presented by executive directors Matthew Smith and Amy Smith. Fortify Rights is a not-for-profit NGO based in Bangkok that works to prevent and remedy human rights violations. Part of the Camden Conference community events series, presented at the Camden Public Library at 7:00 pm.
Thursday, September 22
George Mitchell biographer Douglas Rooks will discuss “Statesman: George Mitchell and the Art of the Possible,” 7:00 pm at the Camden Public Library. There will be books available for purchase and signing at the event. Mitchell is one of Maine’s most notable citizens, and a public figure of national and international standing. Rooks is a veteran Maine journalist and columnist.
