WHITINGHAM, Vt. - Husson freshman defender Abigail Simmons has been named the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Field Hockey Rookie of the Week, the league office announced Monday.
Simmons came up big for the Eagles after holding down an impressive Husson defense that only allowed one goal in the entire NAC Tournament. The rookie was named to the NAC Field Hockey All-Tournament team for her efforts.
