Rockland, Maine - Come to the Friends of Rockland Public Library Bag and Tag Sale on Saturday, August 22, 2015, from 8:00 – 2:00. Early Bird shopping starts at 7:30 if you are a Friend of Rockland Public Library (membership is $10/year). The “bag” part of the sale is all about books. Come down to the Community Room in the library and fill a Trader Joe’s grocery bag full of books for $5. Lots of titles to choose from! This is our summer clearance, so stock up! The “tag” part is a huge yard sale, to be held on the Union Street side of the library lawn. The Friends have a wonderful and diverse selection of gently used goods. Small dorm refrigerators, kitchenette set, furniture, glassware, housewares, children’s and adult clothing, toys, and much more, all very reasonably priced. We so appreciate all of the donated items! All proceeds from this sale benefit the Rockland Public Library.
