Hundreds Turn Out For North Atlantic Blues Festival

Rockland, Maine - Hundreds of people turned out for the 22nd North Atlantic Blue Festival between July 11th and July 12th, 2015 in Rockland, Maine's harbor park.

According to their site, The North Atlantic Blues Festival is an annual two-day blues music festival featuring national blues performers and considered one of the most prestigious on the East Coast. The festival is held at the Public Landing in Rockland, Maine, overlooking the picturesque Rockland Harbor. Some of the top names in blues music have been featured at this prestigious East Coast festival. In addition to all day live entertainment, the festival has vendors selling a wide array of food, drinks and crafts.  Saturday evening Main Street is closed to traffic for the NABF Club Crawl. Attendees of legal age, wearing their wristband from the festival are allowed free admission to the many bars and restaurants featuring many of the top regional blues performers. There are also bands performing on Main Street for all ages at no charge.

The lineup for this year's annual North Atlantic Blues Festival put on by Paul Benjamin and Jamie Isaacson saw Roberto Morbioli, Doug Deming, Dennis Gruenling & The Jewel Tunes, Eddie Shaw & The Wolfgang with special guest Sax Gordon & Rodney Brown, Tommy Castro & The Painkillers and James Cotton performed on Saturday, Sunday featured Dexter Allen, Peterson Brothers, Nick Moss Band, Rod Plazza & The Mighty Flyers and Marcia Ball. Both days featured Harrison Kennedy taking the side stage in between acts.

All the performers at this year's North Atlantic Blues Festival saw sunny and 80 plus degree weather.

Those attending this year's festival could get food of all kinds and merchandise from the several vendors set up. People could dance on the dance floor they laid out. All in all, it looks like this year's North Atlantic Blues Festival was a huge successful due impart to Paul, Jamie and the many volunteers who put this festival together.
