Under Secretary Sherman is on foreign travel in Almaty, Kazakhstan, leading the U.S. Delegation to P5+1 talks with Iran.

UNDER SECRETARY FOR ECONOMIC GROWTH, ENERGY AND THE ENVIRONMENT ROBERT HORMATS
Under Secretary Hormats is on foreign travel to Vancouver, Canada to participate in the Pacific Energy Summit from April 2 through 5. He then travels to Beijing, China for the Ba’Ao and Internet Industry Forums from April 5 through 10, as well as Tokyo, Japan, from April 10 through 12 for bilateral consultations with Japanese government officials.
7:45 a.m. Under Secretary Hormats participates in a small-group breakfast discussion with Mike Herberg, Research Director of NBR's Energy Security Program, on a new NBR initiative on energy and strategic policy for the Asia-Pacific region, in Vancouver, Canada.

1:00 p.m. Assistant Secretary Brimmer hosts a roundtable discussion with the UN Al Qaida and Afghanistan Sanctions Monitoring Group, at the Department of State.
3:00 p.m. Assistant Secretary Brimmer meets with Danish Ambassador to the U.S. Peter Taksoe-Jensen to discuss the upcoming Danish Presidency of the UN General Assembly, at the Department of State.

Assistant Secretary Hammer accompanies Under Secretary Sherman on foreign travel to Almaty, Kazakhstan for the P5+1 talks with Iran.

ASSISTANT SECRETARY FOR WESTERN HEMISPHERE AFFAIRS ROBERTA JACOBSON
Assistant Secretary Jacobson is on travel to Brown University to deliver remarks on U.S. policy priorities in the Western Hemisphere, promote the President’s 100,000 Strong in the Americas initiatives, and participate in interviews with local media. 

ASSISTANT SECRETARY FOR OCEANS AND INTERNATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL AND SCIENTIFIC AFFAIRS KERRI-ANN JONES
Assistant Secretary Jones is in on foreign travel to Ankara and Istanbul, Turkey from April 2 through April 10. In Ankara, Assistant Secretary Jones will co-chair the first Science and Technology Cooperation Meeting between the United States and Turkey, and participate in a panel discussion on innovation and entrepreneurship with students and faculty of the Entrepreneurship Center at Bilkent University. In Istanbul, Assistant Secretary Jones will lead the U.S. delegation to the Tenth Session of the United Nations Forum on Forests, where she will participate in panel discussions focused on the Collaborative Partnership on Forests, Post-2015 UN development agenda, and Global Forest Watch 2.0.
8:15 a.m. LOCAL Assistant Secretary Jones meets with the President of the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBÄ°TAK) and co-chair of the science and technology cooperation meeting Professor Yücel Altunbasak, in Ankara, Turkey.
9:00 a.m. LOCAL Assistant Secretary Jones co-chairs the inaugural U.S.-Turkey Science and Technology Cooperation Meeting between the United States and Turkey, in Ankara, Turkey.
6:30 p.m. LOCAL Assistant Secretary Jones attends the closing reception for the science and technology cooperation meeting hosted by the U.S. Ambassador to Turkey Francis J. Ricciardone, in Ankara, Turkey.

AMBASSADOR-AT-LARGE STEPHEN RAPP, OFFICE OF GLOBAL CRIMINAL JUSTICE
10:00 a.m. Ambassador Rapp delivers remarks on the U.S. position on the international criminal court and tribunals, at the Brookings Institution. 

SPECIAL ADVISER FOR GLOBAL YOUTH ISSUES ZEENAT RAHMAN
9:00 a.m. Special Adviser for Global Youth Issues Zeenat Rahman hosts young innovators from Ghana, Egypt, and the United States in a Google+ Hangout to discuss how to foster entrepreneurship and innovation among youth worldwide.
