May 4 & 5 Book Sale at Camden Public Library
Don White displaying some of the books donated for the May sale at the Camden Public Library. White is the chair of the volunteer group that collects, sorts, prices, and sells the books, to benefit the library’s book fund. He says, “May is the month to get your garden planted after a full winter of thinking about it! We have plenty of gardening books with colorful photos to make your choices easier. Join us in the Camden Public Library’s Picker Room Saturday, May 4, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, and Sunday, May 5, 1:00 to 4:30 pm for another fantastic book sale. For the do-it-yourself enthusiasts, we have plenty of books to help you redecorate your home, build a deck, or any other do-it-yourself projects. The crafts section will include several Woodsmith guides. For cooks, we’re loaded with recipes that will make your mouth water. Travelers revel in our selections, and our nature section will enthrall animal lovers. There are dozens of Maine-themed books, and for boat lovers we will feature books on wooden boat building and more. Our fiction section is bursting at the seams, as is our paperback and children’s sections. Don’t miss our May sale, May 4 and 5 at the Camden Public Library!”
There will be hundreds of books at the sale at incredible bargains: hardcover books are generally $2, and paperbacks are 3 for $1.
