Camden, Maine - Joe Churchman recently completed a lengthy restoration of his grandmother’s 1923 Moon touring car and will present on the process on Saturday, June 23 at 2:00 pm at the Camden Public Library.
There will be a panel discussion in the Picker Room of the Camden Public Library, featuring Joe Churchman and others who were involved in the restoration process. George Sprowl, owner of Antique Express in Searsmont, will speak on Automobile Restoration. Owls Head Transportation Museum will also be present on the panel. The car itself will be on display in front of the library.
The Moon Motor Car Company was founded by Joseph Moon in 1905. The company lasted about 30 years before succumbing to the Great Depression. Moon produced high-quality, affordable cars which were handmade with great care.
