BREAKING NEWS: Knox County Sheriff's Office Saves Two
BREAKING NEWS: Warren, Maine - At approximately 10:30 p.m. last night, Knox County Regional Communications Center advised deputies that they were starting rescue units to Finntown Rd. in Warren for a report of two unresponsive males in a vehicle. They were also advised that it was reported the two had been using drugs. Deputy Arthur Smith arrived and found one male laying face down in the road and a female attempting chest compressions on him. The other male was sitting upright in a vehicle. Deputy Smith administered his “Narcan” that all deputies carry to both individuals until Deputy Alicia Averill arrived and Deputy Smith had to administer her dosage as well to the two. A short time later, ambulances from Warren and Waldoboro arrived and took over care of the two males that had become responsive at this time. Both males were transported to Pen-Bay Medical Center and shortly after arrival left the hospital against medical advice.
Deputies have talked to the witnesses at the scene and an investigation will be pursued into the drug use.
