Oceanside Boosters to host annual Mother’s Day 5k Road Race

Rockland, Maine - The Oceanside Boosters will hold the annual Mariner Mother’s Day 5Kilometer Road Race on Sunday, May 10 at Oceanside East High School in Rockland rain or shine. There will be a free Kids Fun Run at 8:30 a.m. for youths up to age 10. Walkers will start the course at 9 a.m. and runners will begin at 9:15 a.m.

Participants are encouraged to preregister to save money and receive a free tee shirt if they are registered before April 26, 2015.

The cost is $20 for adults and youth age 11 and up. On race day, the costs will be $25 per person. No entry fee for kids up to age 10.

Awards will be given for all participants in the Kids Fun Run. Overall male and female finishers and top finishers in each decade category will receive medals.

Volunteers on race day are welcomed and sponsorships are available.
