Tree Clearing to Begin Along I-295

Freeport, Maine - Crews will be clearing trees along I-295 for three weeks beginning with the mobilization of equipment tonight (Wednesday, April 29th).

All work will be between Exits 21 and 28 from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Sunday through Friday. This work will require the contractor, Drew Corp. of Lovell, ME., to close the travel lane within the work zone to safely clear trees and conduct the chipping operation on-site.

Motorists could experience slight delays.
