Celebrate National Library Week with the Camden Public Library! Library Week is April 12 through 18. Help celebrate by participating in our “Food for Fines” program— simply bring in a canned item to donate to the Food Pantry and we will knock $1.00 off your late fee! (Or simply bring in food to donate!)
The library will also be offering free Camden Public Library book bags to all who bring in their library card and check out a book, DVD, CD, iPad, Kindle, Discovery Kit, or any of the specialty items at the Library! Did you know the Library offers a kilowatt tester? and telescopes? and rubber stamp kits? Did you know that 80% of Camden residents already have a library card? Or that the library gets over 200,000 visitors each year?
First sponsored in 1958, National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries across the country each April. It is a time to celebrate the contributions of our nation's libraries and librarians and to promote library use and library support. Come Read, Connect, and Discover at the Camden Public Library -- the anchor of our community!
