UMA’s Go Global student international club and the Human Rights and Holocaust Center of Maine (HRCC) will be hosting a series of events April 28th and 29th in remembrance of the Rwandan Genocide.- Monday, April 28th at 7:00pm, the movie, "Hotel Rwanda" will be shown.
- Tuesday, April 29th at 11:00am, the annual Walk to Remember will begin, and at 1:00pm there will be a screening of, "As We Forgive" and a short talk by an individual directly impacted by the genocide.
All events will take place at the Klahr Center/HHRC located on the UMA campus and are free and open to the public. There will be Rwandan food for purchase in Moose Tracks Cafe.
