Final Winter Education lecture

Owls Head, Maine - The Owls Head Transportation Museum will host the final talk in the 2014 Winter Education Series on a rescheduled date: Sunday, April 27 at 1 pm. The talk, titled “Marine Engines in Maine” will be presented by Penobscot Marine Museum Curator Ben Fuller and is free to the public.

Fuller, a foremost expert in Maine’s rich maritime history, will chronicle the transition from sail and human powered vessels to internal combustion. Historically Maine has not only been home to mariners, but to the innovators and builders who drove the maritime industries. Fuller’s illustrated talk will detail the evolution of maritime industries in Maine.
