Androscoggin County Job Fair in Auburn on April 4

**More than 60 employers will be hiring**
Auburn, Maine - The 11th Annual Androscoggin County Job Fair will be held Friday, April 4 from 9 a.m. to noon at Central Maine Community College, 1250 Turner Street, Auburn.

"Maine's employers are hiring; our state gained 6,500 jobs in 2013 and we are starting April with about 7,000 jobs on Maine's Job Bank," said Governor Paul R. LePage. "2014 promises continued growth with several job fairs scheduled around the state. Come out, meet employers and learn what Androscoggin County and the surrounding area has to offer."

Job fair attendees can have their resumes reviewed on-site by HR professionals and hiring managers. Those attending should bring multiple copies of their resume and be prepared for a job interview.

The fair is sponsored by the Lewiston CareerCenter, the Maine Department of Labor, Central Maine Community College, the Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce, Gleason Media Services and the Sun Journal.

CareerCenters, part of the Maine Department of Labor, offer a variety of services to help people find employment or upgrade skills. Each center provides several public-access computer workstations with Microsoft Office software, resume writing and cover letter software, Internet access and O'Net software for skills assessment. All CareerCenter services are free of charge.
