ONLINE AUCTION OPEN UNTIL NOVEMBER 14- BID TODAY!
The first annual Online Auction for the Merrymeeting Conservation and Education Alliance (MCEA), a partnership between the Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust, the Cathance River Education Alliance, and the Kennebec Estuary Land Trust, is now open! There are over 125 items to bid on until November 14 at www.biddingforgood.com/mcea.
Whether looking for something unique for yourself, searching for a gift for a special someone, or seeking a little adventure, there are plenty of exciting options in the Online Auction. Bidding is off to a furious start with over 330 bids on 113 items thus far. Every bid helps support MCEA's cause to conserve land and conduct nature based education programs in the Merrymeeting Bay region.
Popular items include two Boston Red Sox tickets for a game in the 2013 season, a Farm Share to Brunswick's Crystal Spring Farm, gift certificates to local restaurants, pewter pin by Lovell Designs, a lobstering outing for four, a 'Seguin Island' photographic print, and much more!
The success of this Online Auction depends on spreading the word to as many people as possible. MCEA needs the public's help! Please tell friends and family and encourage them to bid early and often. Registration is quick, easy, and can be completed at www.biddingforgood.com/mcea.
It is not too late to donate items either. For more information on donations or the auction, please contact Ruth Indrick at rindrick@kennebecestuary.org or 442-8400.
All Online Auction proceeds will directly benefit the Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust, Kennebec Estuary Land Trust, and Cathance River Education Alliance. The MCEA Online Auction is generously sponsored by The Merrymeeting Bay Trust, F.L. Putnam, and Highland Green.
