According to coach after the games on Monday, Oceanside was able to get the bats going after a couple times threw the order today, this Morse team has been in every game this year and we wanted to get the lead and continue to but the offensive pressure on them today. Chloe Jones picked up her 11th victory on the year and this freshman helped her own cause in a very big way adding her first varsity Homerun, triple, and a single and 4-RBIs. She was also very tough on the mound with 11-K's and 2-BB and threw a one hit shut out. The only hit for Morse was a bloop single just over third baseman head and just inside the line. The youngsters carried us today with freshman Raechelle Joyce hitting a Homerun, double and 2-RBIs, Soph. Kimmy Roman hitting a triple, 2-Singles and 2-RBIs. We also have had some tremendous senior leadership this year and tonight Kaylyn Grover and Brianna Dugan did again with each hitting two singles a piece and Grover adding 2-RBIs.

We also played some great defense tonight with two outstanding plays by junior right fielder Alexis Mazurek who gun down a girl at first base on a base hit to right and Soph.Casey Pine made one of the best plays I have seen in a long time ranging up the middle to snag a hard hit grounder heading towards centerfield and she turned and gun it in to first to get the girl out on a close play at first to end the game.

Next game a big one vs Medomak at home on Wednesday!
