Trekkers’ “Bid Big, Laugh Loud” Auction on November 8 to Benefit Local Students; With Comedian & Auctioneer Bucky Lewis

Owls Head, Maine - Trekkers’ annual “Bid Big, Laugh Loud” Auction Event will take place on Saturday, November 8th at the Owls Head Transportation Museum. This year’s auction will include some unique items, such as 6-day African safari packages for two, including lodging, all meals and two daily game viewing activities with Zulu Nyala Lodge in South Africa; a ride for two in a 1933 Waco biplane at the Owls Head Transportation Museum; artwork from local artists; and gift certificates for golf, getaway packages, business services, seafood; along with many other items to help get your holiday shopping off to a great start.

The auction preview will run from 5:45-6:30pm. The silent auction will take place from 5:45-8:00pm. From 6:40 to 7:15pm, the crowd will be entertained by the comedic talent of Bucky Lewis. At 7:15pm, Bucky Lewis will don his auctioneer’s hat to start the bidding on the live auction items. The fundraising evening will also include an all-you-can-eat dessert buffet for $5, with a variety of delicious desserts to choose from.

Throughout the evening, comedian and entertainer
Bucky Lewis will add humor and music to the event. For over 25 years, Bucky has been entertaining audiences with his dynamic one-man comedy and music show.​ Bucky’s famous quick wit keeps audiences laughing and engaged. Formally educated in music, he incorporates live music in his stand up humor, funny stories, zany characters, songs and audience interactive routines on stage. As an auctioneer, he also brings humor to his the bidding process, creating memorable experiences and raising thousands of dollars for charities and non-profit organizations.

The “Bid Big, Laugh Loud” Auction Event will combine fantastic auction items, delicious desserts and a hilarious evening with Bucky Lewis, all to benefit Trekkers’ students.
