BREAKING NEWS: Lewiston, Maine - Lewiston and neighboring fire departments are battling a three alarm apartment building fire at 101 Birch Street. Heavy fire still showing, multiple units on scene as well as mutual aid from neighboring towns according Lewiston fire department twitter.
The red cross is helping eleven families affected by this three alarm fire. No word on any injuries.
The state's fire marshal's office is on scene to investigate.
