Merryspring to Honor Volunteers with Appreciation Party‏

Camden/Rockport, Maine - Volunteers past, present, and future are invited to celebrate their service at a Volunteer Appreciation Party at Merryspring Nature Center on Saturday, September 26 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.

In 2014, over 120 volunteers gave hundreds of hours of their time, skills, and talent to Merryspring Nature Center. In addition to helping with the gardens, volunteers have been hard at work on the annual Plant Sale, Kitchen
Tour, Holiday Bazaar, a number of education events, trail work, maintenance, and more. To recognize their generosity, Merryspring will be hosting a Volunteer Appreciation Party with plenty of food, drink, and a raffle with prizes donated by local businesses and organizations.  In addition to recognizing the names and completed projects of its volunteers, Merryspring will offer ongoing volunteer opportunities for the fall and winter seasons.

This is an excellent opportunity for volunteers to meet their fellow stewards, neighbors, and community members who share a devotion to keeping Merryspring the special place that it is.
