What a great day it was to get out and enjoy a morning at Maine Eastern Railroad's Rockland Station for the "TOUCH-A-TRAIN event held as a fundraiser for New England Steam Corporations restoration of  Maine Central steam locomotive #470.

The public had a rare opportunity to tour Maine Eastern"s vintage train from the cab of an FL9 passenger diesel locomotive (built in 1957), through the dining car and passenger car, the caboose and also the massive railroad snow plow!
