White House Schedule - June 19, 2013

In the morning, the President and First Lady will meet and greet with Embassy personnel. 
Later, the President will visit the Schloss Bellevue where he will sign a guest book and be welcomed by President Joachim Gauck of Germany in a ceremony with military honors. Afterwards, the President will hold a bilateral meeting with President Gauck. There will be pre-set pool coverage of the President’s arrival at Schloss Bellevue and there will be travel pool coverage of the welcome with military honors as well as the guest book signing. 
Later in the morning, the President will visit the German Chancellery where he will hold a bilateral meeting and a joint press conference with Chancellor Angela Merkel before having a working lunch with Chancellor Merkel in the afternoon. There will be pre-set pool coverage of the President’s arrival at the German Chancellery and there will be a photojournalists’ spray only at the top of the bilateral meeting. 
In the afternoon, the President will deliver remarks at the Brandenburg Gate. 
Afterwards, the President will sign the Golden Book of Berlin.
Later, the President will meet with Peer Steinbrueck of the Social Democratic Party in the Commerzbank Building. 
In the evening, the President and the First Lady will visit the Schloss Charlottenburg where they will be welcomed by Chancellor Merkel and her spouse, Professor Joachim Sauer for an official photo. There will be pre-set pool coverage of the arrival and official photo opportunity. Later, the President and the First Lady will attend a dinner with Chancellor Merkel.
At night, the President and the First Familywill depart Germany en route Washington, DC. 
At 11:00 AM, the Vice President will deliver remarks at the Congressional ceremony commemorating the dedication of the statue of Frederick Douglass at the U.S. Capitol.
In the afternoon, the Vice President will attend meetings at the White House.
