Red Cloak Celebrates Ten Years in Damariscotta with Benefit Tour for Historical Societies

Sally Lobkowicz, founder of Red Cloak Haunted History Tours.
It was ten years ago that the mysterious Lady in the Red Cloak began leading lantern-lit walks, describing the history and mystery of in-town Damariscotta and Newcastle.

Now that concept has grown to include eight Maine villages, four cemeteries, an excursion boat, an island, and cruise ship passengers in Bar Harbor.

As part of their Ten Year Anniversary Celebration, Red Cloak Haunted History Tours is inviting the public to join them on a special tour to benefit the historical societies in Damariscotta, Newcastle and Nobleboro.

The tour will wind through the streets of in-town Damariscotta, while the Lady in the Red Cloak imparts tales of history and mystery associated with surrounding landmarks.

The benefit tour is scheduled for Friday, June 24 at 7:30 p.m., with a fee of $15. for adults and $7. for children. Arrangements can be made by telephone at 207-380-3806 or online at RedCloakHauntedHistoryTours.com.
