“This will be our biggest sale ever, with the supply of books being refreshed continually during the sale,” said Jean Freedman-White, book sale committee chair. “We have added some new categories and many books have just been donated to the library in the last couple of weeks and will make their first appearance at our book sale.”

Volunteers are needed to help set up for the sale on Wednesday, July 13, at 9:00 am. “We are looking for volunteers to serve for three-hour shifts as cashiers and to refresh the tables of books during the sale. Volunteers are also needed to help pack up books at the end of the sale, on Monday, July 18, at 9:00 am,” she noted. For information about volunteering for any phase of the book sale, please call Freedman-White at 236-4885 or call the Library at 236-3440.

All of the funds raised at the book sale will be used to purchase new books and for children and adult programs at the Camden Public Library.
