UMaine Women's Basketball Opens Season No. 23 in Mid-Major Poll

ORONO, Maine -- The University of Maine women's basketball team opens the season at No. 23 in the College Insider Mid-Major Top 25 Poll, as announced on Wednesday, Nov. 4.

The Black Bears, who reached No. 19 in the College Insider Mid-Major Poll last season, open exhibition action on Friday, Nov. 6 when it takes on Vanguard University at the University of Southern Maine in Gorham at 7 p.m. Maine hosts Stonehill College on Sunday, Nov. 8 at 4 p.m. at the Cross Insurance Center before opening the regular season at Harvard on Friday, Nov. 13 at 5:30 p.m.
