Vermont-based singer/songwriter CHAD HOLLISTER and his nine-piece band will perform a concert to benefit Hope Elephants and the Jim Laurita Fund. This is only possible by the event sponsors Allen Insurance and Financial, Dowling Walsh Gallery and Goose River Golf Course, all ticket proceeds will go the nonprofit fund.
With six self-produced albums under his belt, tours spanning across the nation and 15 years of experience, HOLLISTER has established himself as a mature and impressive musician crafting infectious rhythmic sounds reminiscent of influential artists such as Jack Johnson and Dave Matthews Band. HOLLISTER has opened for Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Blues Traveler and Paul Simon, and shared the stage with many more legends.
HOLLISTER'S take on rock ‘n’ roll has evolved over the years into complex tracks with uplifting messages; being a family man and father has influenced and shaped his performances to create a diverse musical experience. Building off the success his previous albums, HOLLISTER released a self-titled album in 2010 featuring groove-oriented tracks. His most recent release is a new single, "Breathe," a beautiful and melodic track gently encouraging listeners to overcome obstacles and persevere.
