JOHN HASNIP IS NEXT PERFORMER AT LITHGOW’S ‘LIVE & LOCAL’ MUSIC SERIES

Augusta, Maine - Singer-songwriter John Hasnip will perform on Saturday, March 9 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. as part of Lithgow Public Library’s popular local music series, “Live and Local at the Library.”
The Saturday morning concerts are free and open to the public.
Hasnip has been playing guitar and singing for more than 20 years. He’s performed in a variety of places in his home country of England, including London, Liverpool, Birmingham and Yeovil. His band, Bluejay Way, played live on BBC radio Solent and gigged at the famous Cavern Club where the Beatles performed in Liverpool.
Since moving to Augusta from England, Hasnip performs solo, and also with the duo Apple Core, and in the band The Tragic Cats.  In addition to his own songs, Hasnip entertains audiences with a mix of Beatles tunes, classic pop and modern singer-songwriter tunes, including the Beatles, Squeeze, Rod Stewart, Elvis Costello, Van Morrison, Green Day and Snow Patrol.
“Live and Local at the Library” continues with homegrown music on Saturdays in April and May.
