Burbank, California -  Our latest "Musician Spotlight" features a young man that has a great vocals and style of music. Adam Whittington caught our attention with his great voice, sound and style. One of Adam's songs entitled "Make The World Love Again" will be featured in the teaser for the movie Lundon's Bridge (click here) starring Paris Jackson, the daughter of Michael Jackson. Included in this "Musician Spotlight" will be some photos, biography, where to Adam on the net and where to get a taste of his singing.

Dubbed a “Yooper” for being born in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Adam Whittington started his quest to entertain others the moment he could mutter a tune. Banging on a keyboard as a toddler and using toy microphones to set the stage, Adam developed into a small-town superstar as a teenager. Using his family and friends as his first audience, his talent and charisma swept his community and attracted crowds and screaming teenage girls to attend concerts and venues across the Midwest.

As a home-schooled scholar, Adam incorporated his interest in music and the arts as part of his curriculum. Adam captured the hearts of his fans by appearing as Troy in a production of High School Musical. This was only the beginning of appearances for the young artist. With the help of his family and friends, Adam launched multiple concerts and appearances. In May of 2009, Adam released his first CD, entitled “Adam Whittington, To You”. Local radio stations were quick to pick up the tunes. One of the singles, “Get Gone” was voted Upper Michigan’s favorite song of 2010. Meanwhile, the title song, “To You” placed number one on the Radio Café out of Detroit. Embraced and encouraged by fans, it became obvious that this “Yooper” was going places.  During Adam’s time in his hometown he also did numerous concert-fundraisers for causes such as Leukemia and Child Arthritis.

In October 2010 Adam left Michigan and moved to Los Angeles to pursue his motto to “dream big and live it”.  He began working immediately with two top notch producers, Drew Ryan Scott (Varsity Fan Club) and Sean Alexander out of L.A.  Drew recently wrote Willow Smith’s newest single, “Twenty First Century Girl,” and has written for Miley Cyrus, Jonas Brothers, Iyaz and others.  Sean co-wrote/co-produced “Love Like This,” which for 2 weeks was the #1 song in Korea and 4 weeks in Taiwan and he has written for many others. “To be given the opportunity to write music with them was an amazing experience”.  His listeners are giving positive feedback as well as continually requesting more music by Adam. His latest single releases, "Make The World Love Again," "Never Know (What To Say) and “Rush Inside,”   are available on itunes and other social sites "Make The World Love Again" recently went to #1 on The Radio Cafe - Reverbnation Worldwide Chart for 3 weeks in a row. His music is also being played on a variety of Radio Stations.

During a Midwest tour in the Summer of 2011; Adam performed at the largest mall in America in Minnesota at the Radio Café Indoor Indie Music Festival July 2011.  It was one of Adam’s dreams that became reality.  He not only performed once, but on 3 different stages in the mall; Main Stage, Macy's Stage, and the Nickelodeon Stage.  Adam definitely had an impact on his listeners.  With crowds being drawn in from the sound of his voice projecting throughout the mall and teenage girls lining up for hours waiting to get an autograph or a picture with Adam definitely an indication on how excellent his performances went for the day.  Adam hopes to return to the Mall of America to perform again in the near future.

Immediately following the Midwest tour, Adam ventured out on a seven-city, five-state “No Bully Tour,” West Coast tour featuring an array of other stars hoping to send a strong anti-bullying message to teens. Adam experienced bullying when he was younger, so this was an important tour for him and he hopes it gave kids the courage to stand up against bullying.  He emphasized the importance of reporting any type of abuse to a family member or teacher and the importance of not being silent. Adam again returned to the Midwest to perform in Michigan and Ohio and had opportunities during the Month of December 2011 to share his music and story in schools in the Midwest region. The Midwest performances also included a fundraiser for the ‘Lake Superior’ Youth Theatre ‘Marquette Goes Hollywood.”

(December 2011) Adam most recently has co-written a song with Drew Ryan Scott and German producer Sammy Naja which is soon to be released.  This newest song style features more pop/dance/club beats which is what you will hear more of in the future in Adam’s music.

Presently in Burbank, Adam is busy perfecting his dance moves with choreographers, preparing for events and getting ready to get in the studio as well.  He will work again with Sean Alexander, Drew Ryan Scott and Sammy Naja, but is also looking forward to co-writing new dance/club songs and working with Price Productions this February 2012.  Price Productions is based in New York and led by Producer/Composer KC Price.  KC originally from London, now in NYC travels back and forth to LA studios. Her talents are in high demand at top NYC music agencies such as Human Worldwide, JSM Music, The Lodge and Frisbie.  Her voice has been heard on TV ads such as Coke, Campbell’s, Lee Jeans and Clinique, as well as in the songs of the wildly popular Anime TV show Pokémon and the multi-platinum Kids Bop series.  Be watching for Adam’s newest releases with KC Price Productions to be recorded in Los Angeles.
