MS Girls Basketball: Oceanside Blue 7th Captures Busline League Championship Large School Title

Rockland, Maine - The girls seventh grade Oceanside Middle School blue basketball team captured the Busline League Championship large school title against Boothbay on Friday, January 29th, 2016 at Oceanside High School east campus in Rockland, Maine.

Oceanside played an outstanding game with them leading the whole game. They were able to win the game against Boothbay by a score of 25-18. Scorers for Oceanside seventh grade blue team were Olivia Dougherty 1pt foul shot, Grace Woodman 19pt, 6pts from two three pointers and 3 foul shots, Sadie Street 1 foul shot point, Autumn Harvey 2pts and Katherine Freeman with 2pts from foul shots.

Scorers for Boothbay who played a great game against Oceanside were Kyla Taylor 2pts, Rachel Gentry 8pts with 6pts from two three pointers, Haley Abbott 2pts and Madison Hughes with 2pts from two foul shots.

Congratulates Oceanside 7th grade girls blue team for winning the Busline League Championship title in the large school division. We also congratulates Boothbay for a great game finishing as runner-ups.

Oceanside West 7th Grade Blue Teams Defeats Camden-Rockport Dec. 12th

Rockland, Maine - On Wednesday evening the Oceanside West 7th grade Blue teams hosted Camden-Rockport Middle School in two games. In the first the 7th grade Oceanside West Boys team won against Camden-Rockport by a score of 54-50. During the Girls game Oceanside West won by a score of 38-33. Rockland, Maine - This past Monday evening December 10th the Oceanside West Blue 7th grade Girls hosted Great Salt Bay in a great match. Oceanside West Blue 7th grade Girls defeated Great Salt Bay by a score of 57-18. All the players for both teams played a great game.

Oceanside West Blue Teams Split Outcome Dec.5th

Rockland, Maine - The Oceanside 7th grade Blue Basketball teams hosted Boothbay Region Middle School for hardwood action at Rockland District Middle School. Up first were the boys team, where Oceanside West won the hard fought match by a score of  56-29. In the girls game which followed the boys was a different story as Oceanside West had a hard time keep up with Boothbay. Boothbay and Oceanside West players played a hard fought battle that didn't end up in Oceanside's favor. Players of Boothbay were able to win this game by a score of 47-34. Highlight of players who made the points during the girls game were Oceanside West's Gabby Simmons with 19pts and Boothbay's Paige Brown who scored 18 points for her team. Scorers who scored the most points during the boys game were Boothbay's Hasch with 8pts and Oceanside West's Micheal Norton who was able to score  25pts. All the players who played on Wednesday night for Oceanside West 7th grade Blue team and Boothbay's 7th grade, played hard fought games.
