In its first year, BoardWise began generating revenue while accelerating signups and sales

across multiple states and professions. Nurses, social workers, physicians, psychologists, and other licensed professionals have used the platform to navigate complaints, investigations, continuing education audits, self-reporting obligations, probation matters, renewals, and other professional licensing issues.

Those cases have already produced meaningful outcomes, including complaint dismissals, early termination of probation, successful audits, and self-reporting matters that concluded without discipline.

The past year has also brought several important partnerships. BoardWise has worked with Anthropic, the Justice Technology Association, MedBridge, and SimplePractice as it continues to build a broader ecosystem around professional licensing, risk management, legal support, and access to justice.

BoardWise has also expanded its reach through connectors in ChatGPT and Claude, allowing professionals to access BoardWise resources and guidance within the AI platforms they are increasingly using in their everyday lives. At the same time, the company has continued building a state-by-state network of attorneys who can assist users when a matter requires direct legal representation.

The company is also entering its second year with an expanded leadership team.

Megan Jeans has joined BoardWise as Chief Legal Innovation Officer. A Harvard-trained attorney, Megan brings experience in intellectual property practice, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, LexisNexis, and corporate governance. Her work has included building and scaling legal technology products and teams as well as serving organizations across the for-profit and nonprofit sectors.

Nathan Bourgoin has joined as Chief Technical Officer. Nathan is a master's-prepared software engineer with experience at Amazon, Audible, Microsoft, and a range of startups. His background includes building and scaling technology products and engineering teams through periods of significant growth and company exits.

For BoardWise, the first year has been about proving that a different model for professional licensing support is possible. The next chapter is about expanding it.
