Rockport, Maine - There will be a Dedication Ceremony at 10am on the steps in front of the main doors of the library. This is our opportunity to publicly thank the community for making the idea of a library into a reality. It truly took all of us working together from donors and town officials to builders and fundraisers to make this happen. We hope you will join as we take a little time to reflect on this wonderful achievement for Rockport.
The library will be celebrating our Belated
Grand Opening with free hot dogs! We will be grilling hot dogs and veggie dogs from 11am to 1pm on the lower patio. Free hot dogs always taste the best!Crafts Crafts CRAFTS! There will be crafting activities set up for children all day in the library. Come beat the summertime heat and craft with us at the library.
Books for Bikes! At 1pm we will have our Summer Reading capstone event Books for Bikes raffle! Children that have signed up for our Summer Reading program now have a chance to win a bike. For each book entered on your summer reading log you get your name put in the raffle for a new bike. This program is made possible with the generous donation of bikes from the Rockport Masons.
