.Yet another in a series of low pressure systems will bring more
precipitation to the region Wednesday into early Thursday. Low
pressure will dive southeast out of Canada Tuesday night. A
secondary area of low pressure will then develop south of New
England Wednesday, before intensifying and moving towards Halifax
Nova Scotia Wednesday night and early Thursday morning.
The snow may mix with rain along the coast on Wednesday.
Otherwise, moderate to heavy snow accumulations are possible across
Western Maine as well as Central and Northern New Hampshire.
Lighter snow is expected over southern New Hampshire. The
precipitation will taper to snow showers and flurries Thursday
morning.
We have had several heavy snowfall events this month. The weight
of the recent snowfall may become problematic for some rooftops.
Also, heavy wet snow along the coastline may lead to isolated
power outages.
