Please join the Maine Department of Transportation (MaineDOT) at a preliminary public meeting to discuss the future replacement of Canaan Bridge (#2120) which carries Routes US2 & 23 over Carrabassett Stream in Canaan. Representatives of the Maine Department of Transportation (MaineDOT) will be present on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. to present information about the existing bridge, listen to concerns, receive comments, and answer questions about the project. MaineDOT is particularly interested in learning local views relative to project consistency with local comprehensive plans, discovering local resources, and identifying local concerns and issues. This project is in the early stages of development and no plans have yet been developed. Anyone with an interest is invited to attend and participate in the meeting.
