Medomak Valley High School were able to advance to the semi-final after upsetting number 2 Oceanside by a score of 4-3. It looked like Medomak Valley was on their game on Thursday.
Oceanside despite not winning had a wonderful season by winning 16 regular season games to earn a spot in the play-offs. Players should be proud of their hard work an look forward to next season.
According Oceanside's coach after the game, Well this was a tough one, I take my hat off to MV they
were the better team today. We left 10 runners on base and didn't get the extra hit to plate the runs. Freshman Chloe Jones battled all day and ended the game with 13Ks 3BB on the day! We have done well all year plating runs but today MV made the plays when it counted. I would like to thank my 4-Seniors for everything and also you guys who write everything on the kids! Thank you very much! Oceanside will regroup and prepare for next year!
