Ellsworth, Maine - The Grand, downtown Ellsworth’s historic 1938 art deco theatre, announces the first ever “Grand Mouth Off Lip Sync Battle,” a fundraising event for The Grand to be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016, at 7 pm. Ticket prices for the battle are $15 Adults/Seniors and $10 Youth (12 and under) General Admission.The Grand has invited area businesses to compete in the Grand Mouth Off, with Maine Coast Memorial Hospital and Stanley Subaru committed to perform with additional businesses to be announced. The Grand's Board of Directors will open the event with their own version of the “Muppets Show Theme.” Each team will then compete against other businesses and perform to popular tunes. Lip Sync teams will be judged by a panel of celebrity judges and the audience votes with their dollars. Top teams move to the finals and perform a new song for the audience and judges.
So save the date, bring a friend and have fun while fundraising, watching local businesses and organizations compete in “The Grand Mouth Off Battle 2016” on Saturday, April 9th at 7 pm.
