Rockland, Maine - Come to the Rockland Public Library on Thursday, November 19 at 6:00 PM for a screening of the 1931 film : Mata Hari.
The film, directed by George Fitzmaurice, stars Greta Garbo in the title role. Mata Hari is the dramatized story of the legendary spy, who used her beauty and sexuality as weapons in clandestine world of espionage. Convicted of spying for Germany during World War I, she was executed in France in 1917. The evening is hosted by local film maven Erika Pfander.
Rockland Public Library is located at 80 Union St. in Rockland. This event, sponsored by the Friends of the Rockland Library, is free and open to the public. FMI: 594-0310.
