November Book Sale to Benefit Camden Public Library
“We have received so many book donations in the last few weeks that we are holding another Indoor Book Sale before Thanksgiving!” said Don White, chair of the book-sale volunteers at the Camden Public Library. “This will be a terrific opportunity to browse both new fiction and vintage treasures straight from the bookshelves of our generous donors. As always we will have hundreds of paperbacks and children’s titles for 50 cents each, three for one dollar. Most of our books are two dollars each and our fiction tables will have at least 800 titles for sale. In addition there will be cookbooks, how-to titles, biographies, and history. Planning to travel? We have titles that may spark your interest!”
The sale will be on Saturday, November 15, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, and Sunday, November 16, 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm. The book sales are run entirely by the volunteers of the Camden Public Library and contribute a significant portion of the library’s annual budget. “We have begun our holiday indoor book sale at the Camden Public Library with a bang, literally!” Said Don White “The maple on our book storage roof has inspired us to sell loads of books for your winter reading pleasure.”
