Gold had this to say to Fox Sports, "I'm very happy to win my first GP and senior international," Gold said. "But I know I can do better and improve on this performance."
"I'm excited to go to the GP Final in Barcelona," Gold said. "Although it's a bit of a mixed blessing because it
will be an extremely difficult competition with the four Russians and Ashley and I."
Grace Elizabeth Gold, known as Gracie Gold, is an American figure skater. She is the 2012 World Junior silver medalist, 2013 U.S. national silver medalist, and 2014 U.S. national champion.
Gracie Gold will be joined by Ashley Wagner next month at the Grand Prix finales in Barcelona, Spain. Also joining them are Russians Elena Radionova, Elizaveta Tuktamysheva, Anna Pogorilaya and Julia Lipnitskaia.
The gold medal Gracie earned is her first career Grand Prix win.
