Works by Central Maine Clay Artists, a mini-exhibition at 45 Memorial Circle in Augusta

Augusta, Maine - The Kennebec Valley Art Association is pleased to present Works by Central Maine Clay Artists, a mini art exhibition in the former ATM space at 45 Memorial Circle in Augusta.  Central Maine Clay Artists consists of both professional and hobby potters and clay artist and have been meeting and supporting each other for over 8 years. On view March 24-May 9, 2014 the installation is open 9am-9pm daily, can be viewed from outside the building, and is lit at night.

Spring means “Mug Season” for the group where each member of Central Maine Clay Artists donates several mugs that are sold in area coffee shops to raise money for local art programs in the area.  Mugs will be in the coffee shops during the month of April.  Also during “Mug Season” the group will hold a mug
making workshop at The Harlow Gallery at 160 Water Street in Hallowell on Saturday April 12th.

The Central Maine Clay Artists remains active in May with the Maine Pottery Tour, a state wide open studio weekend in its third year, the brainchild of Lori Watts of Fine Mess Pottery and member of CMCA.
