Spring means “Mug Season” for the group where each member of Central Maine Clay Artists donates several mugs that are sold in area coffee shops to raise money for local art programs in the area. Mugs will be in the coffee shops during the month of April. Also during “Mug Season” the group will hold a mugmaking workshop at The Harlow Gallery at 160 Water Street in Hallowell on Saturday April 12th.
The Central Maine Clay Artists remains active in May with the Maine Pottery Tour, a state wide open studio weekend in its third year, the brainchild of Lori Watts of Fine Mess Pottery and member of CMCA.
