Portland Disability Advisory Committee asks community for input
Portland, Maine – Following the Portland Disability Advisory Committee’s first public forum earlier this week, the group has issued an online survey in the hopes that community members will provide their input regarding Portland’s accessibility and livability. The link to the survey can be found on the city’s website as the first item under “city news” or directly via this link.
The Portland Disability Advisory Commission serves in an advisory capacity to City Manager Mark Rees with the purpose of identifying the needs and concerns of people with disabilities who live, work, and interact with the city. The work is aimed at improving the quality of life for everyone by making the city a more welcoming, accessible, and inclusive community.
