Ongoing demonstrations and hands-on activities will be offered throughout the day and will include spinning, weaving, tatting, needle felting, bobbin lace, embroidery, rug hooking, knitting, crocheting, Kumihimo, Peyote Stitching, and more. Many of the original works and project kits on display will also be available for purchase.
Yarn storming displays created by the Library’s Knitting Group will also be found both inside and outside of the Library. What is yarn storming? It’s a form of graffiti, but colorful knitted and crocheted creations are used in place of paint. It’s a fun way to celebrate public art at our public library.
