Summertime Fun: Rockland Breakwater Lobster Boat Races June 16th

Rockland, Maine - The annual races of every size and types of Lobster boats off the Rockland Breakwater will take place on June 16th, 2013. This is a fun event to bring your family, friends and enjoy watching lobstermen having a day off from the race of going to every trap to catch lobsters. Lobstering is a big part of life for many Mainers along the Maine coast. Come out to watch these hard working people having a fun day of racing together. Races normally start sometime mid-morning.
