TRAVEL ALERT: Rockland, Maine - The annual Rockland Summer Solstice will close Main Street from 3-8pm tonight, June 21st for the large amount of people who will turn out for this great event. Please seek another route around downtown this evening if you're not planning on attending and remember no parking on main street. Broadway is a great route to by pass the downtown area.
Rockland Summer Solstice is like a huge street party from 4-8pm with food, music, vendors and dance. This is a great event to come out to tonight to enjoy what this annual event has to offer and to mingle with friends and family.

BREAKING NEWS: local police stretched thin by many accidents across the area.

At the request of the Maine State Police, speed limits on the Maine Turnpike from the beginning of the Maine Turnpike in Kittery at mile 2 to the end of the Maine Turnpike at Mile 109 have been reduced to 45 MPH due to snow

TRAVEL ALERT: heavy traffic between Exit 63 in Gray and Exit 53 in Falmouth
Time: 7:45 AM
Date: 1/16/2013
Motorists traveling Southbound on the Maine Turnpike are being advised of heavy traffic between Exit 63 in Gray and Exit 53 in Falmouth
Additional Information:
There is very slow moving traffic starting at mile 55 southbound because of a collision. Motorists traveling southbound should be prepared to stop and approach area with extreme caution.
At the request of the Maine State Police, speed limits on the Maine Turnpike from the beginning of the Maine Turnpike in Kittery at mile 2 to the New Gloucester Barrier Toll at Mile 67 have been reduced to 45 MPH due to snow.
