.A fast moving system is expected to spread snow rapidly across
region Wednesday morning. The snow will become heavy at times
Wednesday afternoon and evening before ending late. Over southeast
New Hampshire and parts of the immediate coast of Maine a mix of
sleet and rain may briefly occur keeping some snowfall amounts
lower. The system will exit into the maritimes late Thursday night
with clearing expected in its wake.

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Travel will be very difficult to
impossible, including during the evening commute on Wednesday.
Total snow accumulations of 9 to 12 inches are expected.
* WHERE...Portions of, south central, southwest, west central
and western Maine.
* WHEN...From 11 AM Wednesday to 3 AM EST Thursday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Be prepared for significant reductions in
visibility at times.
