HS Girls Soccer: Hermon Edges Out Oceanside In Class B Regional, Moves Onto States

Thomaston, Maine - The Oceanside girls soccer team hosted Hermon High School in class B north regional. This match saw Hermon and Oceanside battling it out throughout the game. Hermon's number 22 was able to get the ball into the net during second half allowing them the 1-0 win.

Oceanside despite not winning this regional game, they still had an amazing season, should be proud of their hard work. They had thirteen shots on goal, 5 goalie saves, 4 corner kicks and 7 direct kicks.

Hermon number 22 Chloe Raymond got the winning goal. They had 6 shots on goal, thirteen goalie saves, 2 corner kicks and six direct kicks. Congratulations Hermon on advancing to Saturday's states.

At the end of the game each team member for Hermon and Oceanside were honored with a plaque. Oceanside received the runner up plaque and Hermon the class B north regional champion plaque for girls soccer.
