Clifford named to the 2015 NAC All-Sportsmanship Team

Whitingham, Vt - The North Atlantic Conference announced the 2015 Men's Cross Country All-Conference team on Monday evening, sophomore Morgan Clifford earned All-Sportsmanship team honors.

Clifford is one of the most positive people on the Women's cross country team who works extremely hard and is encouraging of all. She conducts herself in a sportsman like manner on and off the course and is kind and courteous to athletes on her own team and on competing squads.

New to the conference this season is the selection of a Sportsmanship Team which is reserved for those who have distinguished themselves through demonstrated acts of sportsmanship and ethical behavior. The honorees are individuals who have positively affected the women's cross country culture and environment and whose behavior clearly demonstrates sportsmanship and integrity. The following ten individuals have been selected to the NAC Women's Cross Country Sportsmanship Team, Castleton senior Caitlin Ryan (New City, N.Y.), Colby-Sawyer junior Lea Taylor (Newburyport, Mass.), UMaine-Farmington sophomore Anna Dowling (Saco, Maine), Green Mountain freshman Luna Collins (South Hamilton, Mass.), Husson sophomore Morgan Clifford (Brooks, Maine), Johnson State senior Amanda Bortlein (Ludlow, Vt.), Lyndon sophomore Libby Start (Randolph, Vt.), Maine Maritime senior Elin Sonesson (Cape Elizabeth, Maine), New England College's Granata, and Thomas sophomore Evelyn Swan (Bar Harbor, Maine).
