Portland, Maine - Come and sing with us! Join like-minded, creatively aging adults in a safe and welcoming environment at Portland Public Library for a free 10 week long vocal workshop. We invite singers of every skill level to participate in exploring a variety of musical genres, with lots of laughing, and time for coffee and socializing as well. Meet your neighbors, learn (or re-learn) to sing with abandon, and reap the benefits of adding texture, connection, and years to your life.
Breath in and breath out, let go, and SING !
Registration is required for this workshop. Please call Harper at (207) 871-1700 x 256 or email chance@portlandpubliclibrary.org. The workshop will be held at 10:30am-12:30pm from March 26th through May 28th with a culminating concert on June 4th.
Creative Aging in America’s Libraries is supported by a National Leadership Grant from the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services in collaboration with Lifetime Arts, Inc., AARP Foundation, American Library Association and Westchester Library System.
