Rockland, ME - At the Strand Theater on Saturday night was the 7th annual Trekkapalooza where seven band battled it out. This event was a fundraiser for Trekkers who provides a road for new relationships. Trekkers provides the following programs Rites of Passage (12th grade), College/Career Exploration (11 grade), Ride Through History (9th grade) and Teen Trekkers (7th), just to name a few programs they offer. At Trekkapalooza the following bands completed for the 2012 Battle For Bus title. Performers were Chaos Sauce, The Educators, Downtown Antonio Brown, Sideways Highways, The Fall That Never Ends and Just Teachers. All the bands did a great job with their sets during this event. However, only one of these seven bands can win the Battle of the Bus 2012 title. The winners were The Educators in 2nd place, who won 100 dollars and Chaos Sauce winning the title, 250 dollars, which included an encore performance. During the event a rep presented Trekkers with a 5,000 dollars for their college program. Bands completing during this event did a great job.
