Disney Channel - Are you ready for the premiere of "Frenemies" this Friday? We here at RCN are excited to see the talented young stars Bella Thorne, Zendaya, Stefanie Scott, Mary Mouser and Nick Robinson in this all new movie from Disney, You can watch this movie on Friday, January 13th, 2012 at 8pm on the Disney channel, check your local listings. If you're busy that night, you can set your DVR to record this movie, so you can watch it when you are free.
"Frenemies" is about following your dreams, staying true to yourself, friendship and family resonate in this all new movie from Disney. This movie also has three stories in one movie. You can read those three story lines below.
The first story follows the inseparable science-whiz Jake and his dog, Murray. Jake is excited to introduce Murray to his new science project partner, Julianne, but there's something about her that Murray just doesn't like – and the feeling is mutual. Julianne is using Jake in order to get a good grade on her science project, and Murray tries to expose her intentions before he loses Jake's friendship to this imposter.
The second story follows Avalon and Halley, best friends who are overjoyed when a publisher wants to turn their fashion blog, Geekly Chic into a magazine, but their friendship is put to the test when they learn that the magazine only wants one of them to stay on as senior editor. Their assignment is to each submit an article of their choice and the person who writes the best article gets the coveted position. When they both decide on writing about the same indie-rocker Jean-Frank, their friendship takes a turn for the worst as they vie for an interview with the rocker. Avalon and Halley both dream of being a senior editor at Burns publications, but ultimately need to decide if a job is worth the demise of their friendship, or if they should band together and take Geekly Chic to the top on their own.
In the last story, tomboy Savannah who comes from a large, high-energy family meets privileged, uptown girl Emma, who looks like her twin. The two girls become fast friends and decide to trade places for a while, but realize that life on the other side, although fun for a moment, isn't what it's cracked up to be. On top of that, their friendship is marred when Savannah's crush Jake and Emma's boyfriend Lance become tangled in their shenanigans. Eventually the girls realize the only way their friendship can be salvaged is by being themselves.
We should point out that Mary Mouser plays two roles in this movie as Savannah and Emma. This should be a great movie for the family to watch and enjoy.
